I Am Clueless

After filling about 59 scripts all by myself last Friday, I was dead tired.
So I decided to stop by the gas station for a cold beer before heading back to the hotel.
There I stood, 15 freaking minutes, trying to find ONE, just one, beer to bring home. Sure there were 6 packs, 12 packs, 24 packs, but I just wanted ONE beer.
Am I allowed to remove a single beer from its pack? What kind of gas station doesn’t sell just ONE beer? I can try taking just ONE beer and risk being called an idiot by the cashier.
Exhausted from my own cluelessness, I started walking out when my drooling mouth forced me back for that ONE beer.
There I stood, again, this time for another 10 minutes, scanning, searching for that ONE beer. Playing it smart, I decided to wait until everybody is gone. That way, if the cashier rejects me I won’t cause a big scene.
My heart was pounding as I brought that ONE beer to the cashier. I felt like a 16-year-old attempting to buy his first alcohol.
The cashier saw what’s in my hand and asked for my ID. I knew right then that I was safe.
I finally got my ONE beer.
LOL thanks for the laugh. I had a rough ass day at work today. With digital cameras, why do ppl still use film? But there I was stuck with 37 rolls of film today and only got 20 done before closing.
Yep, I feel you. Same with brand and generics.
hko – are they professional photographers, police, or just normal day to day family customers?
tdk….we do photos for all kinds of ppl from pro. photographers to NFL football players to everyday kind of ppl. We are not allowed to talk about the content of the photos or the ppl themselves or we lose our job. But let me tell yah, some I just rather look the other way LOL

Regarding your sentence – in that case I think a digital camera and a $59.95 home printer would have satisfied that job pretty well, and in total privacy too, if I am on the right track with what you meant.

i remember the days of developing film and working in starbucks at the bulls eye pen…so glad not to deal with all of that anymore…how is the script increase going
just like today….what’s up with girls, whip cream, chocolate syrup, and slides??? thank goodness I’m on the kinky side and don’t mind seeing these….at least it’s not 2 guys going at it…..I’d pay anything to not see that…..but then for girls??? hmmmm?
also….I thought that’s why they made Polaroid camera…logicgui, you be quiet on that LOL
