Apparently My Car Hates Me Too
November 5th, 2009
I despise that lemon of a car I bought.
First the lights blinked mysteriously at night. Then, the AC wasn’t cool enough on the driver’s side. Now the steering wheel is clicking every time I turn.
Not a single day went by that I didn’t find myself telling that car off.
Apparently, it had enough of my verbal abuse. This morning, I pressed the wrong button and it told me exactly what it thinks of me.

Some nerve that car has.
Hahaha.
Very nice post.
What car is it?
Honda I-Used-To-Be-Dependable Accord. I want my old Altima back.
lol too funny. But then again, I shouldn’t laugh. My car is having issues and it’s only 6 years old. The engine light decided to come on and blink at me. Guy at the shop says it’s a “cam-something-or-other”…..hey, I’m a girl, I know little about how to fix cars. But I can change a tire.
Logicgui – which year?
hko – which car? I have a 1993 Camry and its battery light comes on about half the time we start up the car, then disappears about 5 minutes later. Every so often the engine light would come on, but then it runs fine. Must be some electrical fighting taking place, but then I don’t really care because it’s not worth the fix since it still runs fine.
How often do you guys service your cars?
It’s a 2009. My 1994 Altima ran flawless for over 6 years. And it’s a hand-me-down. The only service I get is scheduled oil change.
mine is a 2003 dodge intrepid…..runs like a dream, but it’s just the engine light. I get it serviced once a year. The shop guy says the part will cost $35.00 and he’ll put it in for a $30.00 service charge. So, I guess it’s better than the place I bought it from. They said the part was a couple hundred and then a few hundered just for the service charge. I think some auto places charge way too much.
I try to get my dad to service my car at least twice a year.
A well service car is a reliable car in the long run.
It’s amazing how an engine can take so much beating after so many years and still runs!!
lolz. Time to trade it in for a brand new 2005 Nissan Altima with only 87K miles.
TDK, I thought I was the only one who depends on their dad to service their car.
Mr. David, I may not have 2 houses but I do have 1 brain!
