What a Scoundrel
June 3rd, 2009
I am ashamed to concede that I know this person, or rather this blood-sucking, terrestrial worm of society. She is a mother of one. Her husband works his butt off trying to support the family. She refuses to secure a job, refuses to further her education, and refuses to rise up from her economical status and make a human being out of her parasitic self. Furthermore, she always manages to conjure an excuse to go back to Vietnam, whether it’s for a wedding of her best friend’s second cousin’s sister-in-law’s friend’s brother or for the death of the family dog. That totals to about 3 trips a year.
But at least she keeps the house clean, right? Wrong. The house is a total pigsty where one can’t even walk 3 steps without tripping over a piece of clothing or a smashed up toy. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It looks 10 times worse than the one-bedroom college apartment I shared with my 2 brothers.
I became embittered only upon learning that she is applying for Medicaid. Instead of working, she’s leeching off of your and my hard-earned money. For every dollar we make, we pay roughly 20 cents to support scoundrels like her. We are the enablers of her sad existence.
I am truly ashamed to concede that I know her. She gives Vietnamese a bad name.
